SYNOPSIS : American East is a timely, poignant drama about Arab-Americans living in post-9/11 Los Angeles. The story examines long-held misunderstandings about Arabic and Islamic culture, and puts a human face on a segment of the U.S. population whom most Americans know nothing about, but who today are of particular interest to them, either from curiosity or suspicion. The story highlights the pressures under which many Arab-Americans now live, by focusing on the points-of-view of three main characters.

SYNOPSIS : Spoon is a sci-fi supernatural thriller which unveils the life of 28 year old Daniel Spoon. SYNOPSIS : Following Mr Bones, South Africa’s most successful film ever, comes Mama Jack, the story of Jack Theron, an ordinary person, working on a film set, however, his movie director boss hates his guts. In a bid to get rid of Jack, the director spikes his drink at a glamorous function, and before long Jack has unwittingly offended all the attending dignitaries, ruined the function and got himself on the wrong side of the law. Now, on the run and desperate, Jack turns to his friend, Shorty, a make-up artist for help, and emerges disguised as a black woman, Mama Jack. Mama Jack soon finds “herself” employed by the producer’s fiancée and begins to fall in love with her. A series of deceptions and misunderstandings pile up and comic mayhem results.

SYNOPSIS : Dollars And White Pipes is based on the true life story of Bernard Baaitjies who grew up in the gangland culture of the ghettoes of Cape Town. In the vein of Trainspotting, this film is a rags to riches story which follows Bernard’s journey from the drug and gang culture to emotional and moral independence as he overcomes issues of race, education, addiction and racketeering and becomes a well respected and law abiding business entrepreneur – which he is today.
